We are participating in Pennies for Patients beginning March 13th and ending on March 24th. Students are to collect donations either cash, coins, check, or online. Students are to count their own boxes and donations and add them to the classroom box each Friday. The fifth period representative will then bring the class box to room 116 each Friday so ASB can total up each classroom’s total.
This is a competition! The class that raises the most money will earn a pizza party provided to us from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. You can access the website from the school website or this link: bit.ly/mbmspenniesforpatients2017. Each teacher has a website that was created for you. The username is your mbusd.org email address and the password is mbms. You can then keep track of donations that were made to your class online as well as in class. I will update totals weekly. You can also edit your page and make it more personal if you would like to. There are also individual prizes for the student that raises the highest donation. Students can register themselves on your teacher website and then see how much they have donated in comparison to others in the class. The winner of the competition will be announced Tuesday, March 28th!
