Join us for MBUSD's first Districtwide Parent Technology & Learning Night. Are you wondering how technology is being used to improve your child's education? Then this event is for you!
Courses in Google Earth, World Digital Library, Khan Academy, iXL, Edmodo, Notability, Educreations, iMotion, iMovie, eBackpack and Evernote are just some of the applications and websites that will be covered. There will also be sessions on digital safety and integrating technology safely into both school and home. There are sessions across ALL grade levels (KDG - 12), so whether your student is an emerging reader or analyzing complex story structure, we have a relevant course. In fact, we have 20 different courses to choose from. Do you have questions about your child's iPad? We'll have a Q &A Station staffed by District Technology Staff to answer iPad questions throughout the evening. Over 20 District teachers, administrators and consultants will be coming together to make this event possible.
Please read the attached "Description of Sessions" (attach pdf) for full details. Pick a few that interest you most using this easy scheduler (attach pdf) and join us for an enlightening evening. There is limited space, so save your spot now on the Sign Up Genius link.
If you need childcare to attend the evening, the District is pleased to provide complimentary childcare and pizza.
Remember to bring either your or your student's iPad. If you need to borrow an iPad for the evening, please let us know on the Sign Up Genius.
