On September 30, 2023, California Senate Bill 553 (Cortese) was signed into law. This law requires that employers establish and implement an effective written Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP) by July 1, 2024.
On June 24, 2024, MBUSD's Workplace Violence Prevention Plan was emailed to all employees. The latest version of the Plan may be accessed here:

To access the Plan online you must be logged in to your @mbusdapps.org account. Otherwise, to request a copy of the latest WVPP please contact your supervisor, office manager, or the Plan Administrator.

CALL 9-1-1 for emergencies when safe. Otherwise, contact your supervisor immediately and complete a
Violent Incident Report:

- using the Violence Incident Report form linked below and included as Attachment A of the WVPP.
